Luke Shaw made his best attempt to silence Jose Mourinho by playing an important role in helping England beat Germany to reach the quarter-finals at Euro 2020.
Manchester United left-back Shaw has been involved in something of a long-running feud with former boss Mourinho, who has even criticised him this summer.
Following the 1-0 win over Czech Republic, Mourinho described Shaw's corners as "dramatically bad", once again stoking the fire in their war of words, though he did praise his overall performance.
“The only negative thing I would say is they were very poor on attacking corners,” Mourinho told talkSPORT.

“The service was dramatically bad. They have so many good players to attack corners.
“Luke Shaw, in my opinion, very good tonight but very poor on the corner. Kalvin Phillips, the same.”
However, there were no poor corners from Shaw in the 2-0 win over Germany, as he provided a fine performance to help England overcome their biggest test yet this summer.

The 25-year-old put the ball on a plate for Raheem Sterling to score England's opening goal, and looked bright going forward as well as being solid at the back.
Shaw was recently asked about why he thinks Mourinho keeps commenting on him, and the former Southampton man admitted that they never saw eye to eye during their time together at Old Trafford.
"Clearly I am in his head a lot and he clearly thinks about me a lot," he said.
"There is no hiding that we didn't get on," Shaw added, speaking of his time playing under Mourinho.
"I think he was a brilliant manager but, you know, the past is the past. It is time to move on. I am trying to move on but, obviously, he can't.
"He continuously talks about me, which I find quite strange. Even some of the lads have said 'what's his problem?' and 'why does he keep talking?' He just needs to move on."

It seems that Mourinho did not hold back with his criticisms of Shaw during his time as United boss, with the player admitting he has had to learn to block out the Portuguese's words.
"What he says now is nothing compared to how it used to be if I am being totally honest," Shaw said.
"I am so past it now. I have grown up a lot. The three years I had with him, I learnt a lot.
"I find it easy to ignore him now and even laugh about it. But it's better just to ignore it and move on with my life."
