Luke Shaw has identified Paul Pogba as the "biggest personality" at Manchester United - and says the players "adore" him for it.
Pogba's future at United remains in doubt after his agent Mino Raiola publicly stated that the French midfielder wanted to leave Old Trafford.
However, the World Cup winner has done his talking on the pitch of late for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, though he is currently sidelined by injury.
And he remains a popular member of the United squad, according to teammate Shaw.
The left-back answered questions from the fans as part of an interview with Sky Sports ahead of this weekend's Premier League clash with Newcastle.
When asked if Bruno Fernandes was the "biggest personality" at the club," Shaw replied: “He’s one of them, but there are a few big personalities in the squad. Possibly at times when we’ve had bad results it may not have looked like we have.
"But I think another massive one is Paul Pogba. I think his personality is massive.
"People can judge him differently from the outside but everyone loves him and adores him at United - he’s a very big part of our team.
"Of course, it looks like Bruno has got a very big personality - and he’s shown he has - but also Paul has another very big personality and is very important for our team.
"We all love Paul for the way he is and, hopefully, he can continue doing that.”
Pogba suffered a thigh injury during United's recent 3-3 draw with Everton at Old Trafford.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed the former Juventus man would not play again this month.
"With Paul, he is recovering well and starting the treatments, but it will be a few weeks," said Solskjaer.
"He won't be playing in February, that's for sure. It will be a few weeks until we see Paul."
In his latest comments on Pogba, Raiola told Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano: "Paul Pogba to Juventus? I can't speak about Pogba because people are nervous, they don't sleep at night.
"I have to work quietly. If I speak, someone gets offended. Pogba must also be left alone. I will do what I have to do not in front of you, but in the shadows, as I have always done."
