Luke Shaw has revealed he has 'no doubt' Jadon Sancho will come good at Manchester United.
United were long-term admirers of Sancho and, after last year's talks with Borussia Dortmund collapsed, Old Trafford chiefs finally made a breakthrough this summer when agreeing on a £72.9m transfer fee for the winger with the German club.
Sancho, 21, has perhaps not hit the ground running at United like some of his performances at Dortmund suggested he would, but he returned to training late after the European Championship and he also had to overcome illness upon his return to Manchester.
His best performances came in his past two outings against Villarreal and Everton.
Shaw spent his summer with Sancho in the England Euro 2020 squad ahead of his transfer to United and the left-back has offered his thoughts on his teammates start to life playing under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
“Sometimes, for people, it takes time," Shaw told talkSPORT.
“I wouldn’t say struggle because I don’t think he’s struggling at the moment. He’s working extremely hard behind closed doors.
“He’s training really well and looking really sharp. He just hasn’t had that bit of luck that sometimes you need for your first goal or first assist. But I’ve got no doubt in my mind, it’s coming.

“The talent he has is unbelievable, he can go right to the very top. It’s just about him staying focussed, keep doing what he’s doing in training and working hard. His time will come.”
