Luke Shaw has splashed the cash in a classy festive gesture to staff at Manchester United .
United defender Shaw, 24, has shown his generosity in recent years with special presents for staff at Old Trafford and the club's Carrington training ground.
Shaw stepped things up a notch this season and bought 50 Christmas hampers from London department store Harrods.
The Mail reports the left-back arrived at Carrington with the presents, which are worth more than £250 each.
And that takes Shaw's spending to over £12,500 as a token of his appreciation to the unsung staff, who continue to work hard behind the scenes.
Shaw started for the second game in succession as United drew 1-1 with Everton on Sunday.
That came on the back of impressive performances to beat Tottenham and Man City, which lifted United back into top four contention.
They sit sixth going into the festive period, four points off Chelsea , and boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists they remain on the right track.
"I'm looking forward to going into work again because these boys want to improve and learn," he said.
"You always want wins, and you want the momentum to carry on, but we've had three wins since the Aston Villa draw.
"We've taken a few steps forward and this is not a big step backwards, it's more of a stand-still, not improving. We are, as a team and a group, going forward."
