Chris Pratt looks happy with a slight smile on his face.

In exciting news for fans of the hit series 'The Terminal List,' a prequel called 'Dark Wolf' is in the works, and the latest addition to the cast is none other than Luke Hemsworth. The Amazon Prime Video series, led by Chris Pratt, found tremendous success upon its debut, attracting more than one billion minutes of streaming on Nielsen's charts. As a result, the show was renewed for a second season back in February 2023.

While there is no official release date for the highly-anticipated second season of 'The Terminal List,' the prequel 'Dark Wolf' has been making significant progress in terms of casting and plot development. According to Deadline, Luke Hemsworth, best known for his role in 'Westworld,' will be recurring as Jules Landry in 'The Terminal List: Dark Wolf.' Landry is described as a self-obsessed CIA contractor with a dangerous and erratic personality concealed beneath his impressive exterior.

Luke Hemsworth has previously showcased his acting prowess in notable projects such as 'Thor: Ragnarok' and 'Thor: Love and Thunder,' where he portrayed a stage version of the famous Marvel superhero. Now, he is bringing his talents to the world of 'The Terminal List.' Fans of his work can expect an intriguing and captivating performance from Hemsworth as he takes on the role of Jules Landry.

Joining Hemsworth in this anticipated prequel is Taylor Kitsch, who is known for his roles in 'Friday Night Lights' and 'True Detective' season 2. Kitsch will be reprising his role as special operator Ben Edwards from the original series. 'Dark Wolf' is set five years before the events of 'The Terminal List' and promises to deliver an 'elevated espionage thriller,' delving into Ben's journey from Navy SEAL to CIA paramilitary operator. As the story unfolds, viewers will explore the darker side of warfare and the toll it takes on its participants.

The prequel is a collaboration between Jack Carr, the author of the original 'Terminal List' novel, and David DiGilio, the showrunner of the main series. It will feature Chris Pratt reprising his role as James Reece, a Navy SEAL and Ben's teammate. Another notable addition to the cast is Tom Hopper, widely recognized for his role as Luther Hargreeves in Netflix's 'The Umbrella Academy.' Hopper will play Raife Hasting, a Hunter, protector, guardian, and Navy SEAL.

Jared Shaw will also be returning to the 'Terminal List' universe, once again portraying Ernest 'Boozer' Vickers, a member of Alpha Platoon. Additionally, the prequel includes the character Mo Farooq, who has ties to James Reece. While 'Dark Wolf' is not a new season of Chris Pratt's original hit show, it will feature several familiar faces and characters from 'The Terminal List.'

Fans who are eager to delve deeper into the world of 'The Terminal List' can catch the series on Amazon Prime Video.
