Luke Gale returns for Leeds Rhinos but pack pair miss out against Wakefield Trinity

Luke Gale returns for Leeds Rhinos against Wakefield Trinity but forwards James Donaldson and Bodene Thompson miss out through injury.

Donaldson is nursing a shoulder issue and Thompson has been ruled out due to a hip problem.

As expected, though, Gale is back after recovering from a broken thumb to lead Richard Agar’s side out at Headingley.

The 32-year-old lines up alongside Liam Sutcliffe in the halves with Kruise Leeming dropping to the bench.

Tom Briscoe has moved to centre with Luke taking his brother’s place on the wing.

Alex Mellor is back in the second row alongside Rhyse Martin, who has been recalled to the starting line-up.

Sam Walters has dropped down to the bench, which also features fellow youngster Morgan Gannon.
