Here we find out the essential information Luke fans need to know about Showtime!

When is Luke Evans Showtime! on TV?

The hour-long special is on BBC One at 8pm, Thursday, December 22. It's on just ahead of the finale of Traitors, more on that, here.

Who is joining Luke?

The Aberbargoed actor will be joined by an impressive list of international talent, including American singers Nicole Scherzinger and LeAnn Rimes, pop star Olly Murs and Beverly Knight, plus some other guest appearances throughout the show. The programme will feature a UK premiere of LeAnn Rimes' new release Spaceship.

Also appearing are Treorchy Male Choir who he recorded Calon Lan with for his new album, A Song For You. Luke filmed a video at the Principality Stadium with the choir especially for the show.

Perhaps most importantly, Luke's family will be at the show, something he is super proud to be able to do.

"I just thought, what an incredible opportunity to do what I love doing, in a country that's my home with family that I don't see for a very, very long time" he confessed. "I thought, I can bring them all here and at the end of the day, between you and me, and the WalesOnline followers, I was doing it for my family. Everybody else just happened to be there. And anybody who tunes in, great, but I was doing it for my grandad, my mam and dad and all my lovely family who I don't see and they are so proud and support me, but they never really get to enjoy the moment with me, so this is a live show, and that's exactly what they could do."
