Luke Campbell's final message to Vasyl Lomachenko ahead of world title clash

Luke Campbell has warned Vasyl Lomachenko he is ready to pull off one of the biggest shocks in boxing history.

Campbell challenges the three-weight world champion and pound-for-pound No.1 in London on Saturday night.

Victory would propel the Hull lightweight into stardom - but he is a huge underdog.

Both men scaled 9st 8lb on Friday afternoon as they faced off for the final time before the first bell.

And Campbell insisted he has the ability to pull off the upset.

"I feel great," he said. "I'm ready for action, this is what I live for and I'm ready.

"The fight is won tomorrow in the ring. I don't know how he has been this week, I've just concentrated on myself and we've been very relaxed and confident.

"This is where I want to be and the stage I love. You'll see the best of me - it's going to be explosive."

Campbell's promoter Eddie Hearn admitted his man will need to pull off a 'Ben Stokes-like' performance to win.

England cricketer Stokes single-handedly salvaged his country's Ashes hopes with a stunning century against Australia last week.

And Hearn said: "Lomachenko means business and so does Luke.

"The greatest fighter in boxing is here in Britain but it's not the Lomachenko show; we want to see Luke knock him out and become a great himself.

"He chose to take the fight in London because he believes he can win it. It's going to be hard, it's going to be tricky, it's going painful and it's going to be brutal; but those are things he has to overcome to be the best.

"We need a Ben Stokes performance to cause one of the biggest shocks of all time."

A man of few words, Lomachenko fights for just the 15th time as a professional this weekend.

"I'm feeling great, my game plan it to win this fight," he said. "I feel like I am at home in Ukraine, a lot of people have come to support me."
