Luke Campbell refuses to be awed by Vasyl Lomachenko ahead of world title fight

Luke Campbell insists his clash with pound-for-pound king Vasiliy Lomachenko a week on Sunday is ‘just another fight’.

The 31-year-old from Hull challenges for the US-based Ukrainian’s WBA Super World and WBO World belts, as well as the vacant WBC World title, at London’s O2.

It is his second shot at becoming world champion after his loss to Jorge Linares two years ago and the biggest fight of his career.

He said: “It just feels like I’m getting ready for another fight, because that’s exactly what it is.

“We’ve prepared the best we can.

“Our camp is buzzing and we’re just really excited.

“I feel like I’m going from strength to strength, I’m in a great place.

“Right now I’m coming into my best and I feel like these next couple of years, I will be in my zone and go out there and beat anyone.”
