Luka Dončić’s Career Statistical Rankings at Age 25 Are Ridiculous

Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Dončić turns 25 on Wednesday, and the MVP candidate will look to pick up a bounce-back win after the team’s stunning loss at the buzzer against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday evening.

Dončić is in his sixth NBA season, and he’s gotten off to a historic start to his career in Dallas. An offensive juggernaut, Dončić has recorded the third most points by a player before their 25th birthday in league history (10,825), trailing only LeBron James (13,927) and Kevin Durant (12,258).

Additionally, Dončić has scored the most three-pointers (1,114) and has the second most triple-doubles (66) by a player under the age of 25 in NBA history.

Only Dončić and the legendary Michael Jordan have recorded multiple 60-point games before the age of 25, and the Mavericks star is the only player ever to record a 50-point triple double prior to reaching the quarter-century mark in age. He also boasts the second most 20-point (61), 30-point (38) and 40-point (8) triple-doubles in league history before turning 25.

A five-time All-Star, Dončić has racked up a plethora of accolades since being selected in the first round of the 2018 NBA draft, and he’s enjoying his best season yet in ‘23-‘24, averaging a career-high and league-best 34.5 points per game, alongside 9.6 assists–also a career high–and 8.1 rebounds.
