Luis Suarez has admitted he considered sending a photo to key figures at Barcelona following his La Liga title success with Atletico Madrid.
The 34-year-old Uruguayan forward was deemed surplus to requirements at the Nou Camp last year by their manager Ronald Koeman, and was allowed to join a direct rival in Atletico for free.
This has turned out to be a huge mistake, however, with Suarez scoring 21 league goals this season to help fire his side to first place at the expense of Barca.
In an interview with El Partidazo de COPE Suarez was asked whether he had received any congratulatory messages from those who decided it would be wise to let him depart from Catalonia.

And he cheekily replied: "No-one congratulated me, but I nearly sent them a photo!"
Suarez also opened up on his feelings towards Koeman and former president Josep Bartomeu, and lifted the lid of the details surrounding his controversial departure.
He said: "I’m never going to go against Barcelona, they have given me everything and allowed me to get to the elite, but obviously the president [Bartomeu] said everything in the press instead of calling me.
"The moment they wanted Leo [Messi] to stay they called me to use me to convince him, to talk to [Antoine] Griezmann… so why didn’t they call me when they wanted me to leave? Or why did the coach not come and tell me that he does not count on me because he wants another type of striker?

"Koeman told me I wasn’t in his plans, then he said 'If we don’t figure this out by tomorrow, you’re back in my plans and I’m counting on you against Villarreal.'
"I saw then that the man had no personality. He was not strong enough to tell me I was not needed. The decision [to sell] came from the board."
Suarez looks set to stay at least one more season at Atletico, while Barcelona appear ready to replace him by signing fellow South American forward Sergio Aguero from Manchester City on a two-year contract.
