Luis Suarez has snubbed a January transfer to Juventus but remains tempted by a potential move to Major League Soccer, according to reports.
The former Liverpool striker almost joined the Serie A giants in 2020 but the deal collapsed due to issues which led to the the club being under investigation.
Juventus recently approached Suarez again to replace Alvaro Morata, who is keen on joining the 34-year-old's former club, Barcelona.
And Il Corriere dello Sport , via Football Italia, report that the Bianconeri - only willing to let Morata go if they can bring in a replacement - were snubbed, as Suarez remains at Atletico Madrid after helping them to the La Liga title last season.
His career ambition is not to retire in Madrid, though, having previously expressed a desire to play in MLS.

The Uruguay international's contract at the Wanda Metropolitano expires in six month's time and he is now able to negotiate a free transfer with other clubs come June.
Speaking to ESPN , via Spanish outlet AS, Suarez laid out his future plans, labelling the United States a "very good option".
"If I return to any team from South America at 36 or 37 years of age, people will expect me to play like I did in my late twenties," he explained.
"So if I can’t play at the highest level, I rather avoid unnecessary criticism if I don’t run enough or can’t score the same amount of goals as I did in Europe.
"So I want to play somewhere I am happy and comfortable. Also I want to play in a league where I can still perform and keep enjoying playing soccer.
"So I don’t think I will return to South America, but the United States or Asia are very good options when I turn 37."
In May, Suarez also told Club Del Deportista magazine : "I would like to play in the United States, but you never know."
Inter Miami, owned by David Beckham and managed by ex- Manchester United teammate Phil Neville, reportedly offered the marksman a contract when he left Barcelona 18 months ago.
There is, however, a firm belief across the pond that Suarez's final playing days will be in MLS.
Good friend and fellow Uruguayan Nico Lodeiro, who plays for Seattle Sounders, stated in 2019 that "it's only a matter of time" before Suarez rocks up stateside.

"He wants to come to MLS," Lodeiro claimed in an interview with mlssoccer.com. "He is always asking me about the league.
"His dream was to play for Barcelona. He’s playing at a great level and he feels comfortable there.
"Sooner or later he’ll come to MLS. Well, hopefully. "He likes the league. He’s always asking me things about it.
"Hopefully he can also play for Seattle Sounders. It may be a more difficult task.
"I think it’s only a matter of time before he’s out here."
