Luis Suarez sends Premier League title message to Jordan Henderson and Liverpool fans

Former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has sent a message to Reds fans and captain Jordan Henderson in the aftermath of the club's Premier League crown being confirmed.

Suarez was watching on from afar but kept a close eye on the fortunes of his previous club, for whom he played 133 times, scoring 82 times, as Chelsea vs Manchester City unfolded at Stamford Bridge.

The Uruguyan forward told LFCTV: "Jordan and all the other Liverpool players - I am so happy for you and your family, and for the people working in Liverpool and the Liverpool fans.

"I hope you enjoy this time because it’s amazing for the Liverpool supporters.

"You are the champion!"

Suarez was a part of the team that narrowly missed out on winning the Premier League title in 2013/14 under Brendan Rodgers, before he moved to Barcelona that summer for a fee of around £75 million.
