Luis Suarez says Liverpool will be "similar" to Barcelona when he takes on his former side in Wednesday's Champions League semi-final, and revealed that he's been in touch with Jordan Henderson ahead of the game.
The Uruguayan will lead the line for Barca almost five years on from his £65million switch from Anfield to Catalonia, where he recently became the club's fifth-highest goalscorer of all-time.
Alongside Lionel Messi and fellow ex-Red Philippe Coutinho he is expected to present Jurgen Klopp's side with the sternest test of their European run so far this season, but his admiration for his former club is clear.

“It's been years since we last played in a Champions League semi-final, and we are very keen to achieve our objective," Suarez told the Barcelona website .
“You can't get distracted for a second in the Champions League, because you pay dearly for it.
“The atmosphere at the Camp Nou will make clear that the fans want this trophy.
" Liverpool can bring the ball out from the back. They have very good players in the midfield who can get the ball to the forwards. They maybe have a similar shape to us.

"I don't think that there will be too much of a difference in style, but we are both strong sides.
“I'm obviously excited about returning to Anfield, a place for which I have a lot of affection. I've spoken to Henderson and we've said that it will be a special game."
Liverpool named their 23-man squad for Wednesday's first leg before flying out to Barcelona on Tuesday.
