Luis Suarez gives Andy Robertson the death stare after Liverpool star puts on the brakes

Your average modern player doesn't seem enjoy ruffling too many feathers when up against his old club.

But there was never really any danger Luis Suarez was going to be one of those types.

The Barcelona striker was a hero at Liverpool but he's been getting stuck right into his former employers during a fiery Champions League semi-final.

Scotland captain Andy Robertson has quickly gone from rags to riches (do you know he used to play for Queen's Park?) but he certainly has no problem holding his own in amongst Europe's elite.

The left-back earned the death stare treatment from Suarez for blocking off the Uruguayan who then looked to square up to him.

Virgil van Dijk came across to get involved and the pair were quickly separated, with Robertson doing well to keep his cool.

Suarez has had the decisive say far in the last four first-leg showdown, however, turning home early on to give the Catalans a crucial lead.

And he wasn't shy about celebrating either.

The frontman wheeled away and lapped up the goal where others may have chosen to do that apologetic, arms in the air thing after netting against their former team.
