Luis Suarez and Andy Robertson involved in tunnel row during Barcelona and Liverpool's Champions League clash

Former Liverpool player Michael Owen has revealed Barcelona star Luis Suarez clashed with Andy Robertson in the Camp Nou tunnel.

The 'spat' is set to have taken place at half-time as the La Liga champions led 1-0 courtesy of the Urguayan's opener.

Tempers had flared between the pair following Suarez's goal, and Virgil van Dijk stepped in to separate them.

Owen speaking on BT Sport from the tunnel told: "There was still a little bit of commotion walking up that tunnel for half-time.

"Suarez having a bit of a go at Robertson, continuing that spat that there was in the first half."

The Champions League semi-final first leg finished 3-0 to Barcelona after Lionel Messi scored a brace in seven minutes.

Jurgen Klopp's side will host Ernesto Valverde's men at Anfield on Tuesday.
