Mohamed Salah message
Mohamed Salah has sent a passionate message to Liverpool fans after helping the Reds qualify for next season's Champions League.
Despite Salah continuing to score goals, dismal start to 2021 saw Jurgen Klopp's side's Premier League title defence quickly collapse as they faced up to the real possibility of missing out on Europe's elite competition next year.
At the height of Liverpool's issues back in February, following three-successive defeats to Brighton, Man City and Leicester City, Salah took to Twitter to make a heartfelt promise to supporters.
"It’s been a tough period for many reasons," he wrote. "We are champions and we will fight like champions, until the very end.
"We will not allow this season to be defined by the recent results we’ve had. That is my promise to all of you."
Liverpool recovered to finish the season with a 10-match unbeaten run and clinch a, previously unlikely, top three finish as a result.
And after the Reds' final day victory over Crystal Palace, Salah spoke out to supporters again after delivering on his mid-season vow.

Luis Suarez addresses future amid Liverpool links
Luis Suarez has spoken out about his Atletico Madrid future after winning the La Liga title.
The Uruguayan has enjoyed a sensational year since leaving Barcelona, scoring 21 goals, including the winner in their final day victory over Real Valladolid, to help Diego Simeone's men be crowned Spanish champions.
Such form has seen him linked with a return to Liverpool, with some reports speculating he has a clause in his contract that will let him leave Atletico for free this summer.
But Suarez has quashed any suggestion of a return to Anfield when the 34-year-old was quizzed about his future following his latest La Liga win.
"Yes, I'm sure (I'll stay)," Suarez told Spanish TV network Movistar Plus.
"Atletico welcomed me from the minute I arrived. I asked the club if there was room for me on the museum wall to make history at Atletico."
Suarez's contract with Atletico expires in 2022 and club president Enrique Cerezo reiterated the striker's desire to stay at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.
