Ludumo Lamati is expected to have his medication reduced on Wednesday as he continues his recovery in hospital.
The South African boxer collapsed at the end of his fight with Nick Ball on Saturday night as part of Michael Conlan's undercard at the SSE Arena.
Lamati was stretchered out of the arena and taken to hospital where he has been receiving treatment.

The 31-year-old had been under sedation in hospital, but an update posted on Tuesday said that results from latest scans had been "positive".
It read: "Updated scans from the medical staff in Ireland have been completed and the results back by the surgeons have been positive.
"The team will now look to reduce Ludumo's medication tomorrow. This will start to bring him out of his induced state and give us the status of the injury with a more informed diagnosis of the recovery time needed.
"We thank all South Africans for the well wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery."
Lamati, a former IBO super-bantamweight champion, was stopped by Ball in the 12th and final round of their featherweight clash on Saturday night.
Ball said afterwards: "The main thing is his health, because as I say, this boxing is no joke. So I hope he's alright."
Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotion, who put on the fight, also tweeted out in support of Lamati.
