Ludicrous pic shows 'time-travelling' Dublin motorist's fraudulent parking permit

A "time-travelling" parker who tried to scam their way into disabled spaces has been slapped with a fine after gardai noticed a glaring mistake on their permit.

Officers in Dublin had a laugh to themselves after checking the motorists blue badge to discover the real owner had died six years ago!

Not only that, the person had been doctoring the dates on one side of the pass which expired in 2015.

Pictures uploaded by gardai show two sides of the card with a different date on each while they joked about the audacity of the driver.

They said: "Back to the Future!! This disabled parking permit seized from a motorist in Dublin featured very different dates from back to front.

"Enquiries revealed the permit holder died 6 years ago. Permit seized and €150 fine issued."

The fine came as part of Operation Enable which targets people who use fake disabled permits.

Fines of up to €2,000 can be dished out do people who break the rules.
