LUDHIANA: A total of 25 fresh Covid cases were reported on Tuesday. No death took place. The number of active cases has reached 134. Chief medical officer Dr S P Singh said that so far, 1,10,170 people have contracted the virus and 1,07,751 (97.80%) people have recovered. The CMO added that the health department collected samples of 4,258 suspected patients.
Health experts have advised caution in these days. They have asked people to wear masks while stepping out of the house and maintain social distancing. Use of mask is particularly important in enclosed spaces such as malls where crowds gather, said experts.
