Lucy Mecklenburgh has got her nostalgia goggles on as she looks back to earlier days in her and Ryan Thomas ' relationship.
Lucy shared a gorgeous throwback snap of herself and her now fiance, on the very trip when he got down on one knee.
To mark his 36th birthday, new mum Lucy shared the shot of the two of them on a boat in the picturesque Positano in Italy.
Old, weathered buildings run up the hillside behind them as they bob in the water, Lucy smiling at the camera and smitten Ryan nuzzling her cheek.
The snap was taken, Lucy told, before she found out she was carrying their son Roman, who was born in March.
"Happy birthday to my best friend, fiance and baby daddy," Lucy penned.
"Thank you for every breakfast in bed, making me laugh every day & giving me my best present ever...our special baby boy.
"We love you lots x (this photo is even more special now knowing little Roman was in my tummy with us that day)."
The pair confirmed their romance back in 2017 - over the summer last year Ryan popped the question, during their romantic Italy trip.
Lucy announced she was expecting later that same summer.
A snap of her baby bump, and Ryan gifting her a knitted baby onesie was all fans needed to deduce the couple would be having a baby.
Since giving birth, Lucy has honestly related her experiences of being a new mum.
She wrote: "I adore my son, every time I look at him I can't believe I've made this perfect baby boy & when he smiles & laughs me heart bursts with love.
"BUT I've really struggled now for 3 months maybe heightened by lockdown. "
Lucy added that "sleepless nights aren't getting any easier", and though breastfeeding is "wonderful for bonding", it was relentless.
But dad Ryan, who has daughter Scarlett, 11, with ex Tina O'Brien, has got nothing but praise for "supermum" Lucy.
He told The Sun : "There is no rule book about being a mother and I think it has been a day-to-day challenge and she has dealt with it all amazingly, I'm super proud of her."
