Lucy Mecklenburgh has blasted allegations that she cheated on boyfriend Ryan Thomas during a night out in Dubai.
The 27-year-old TOWIE star fell victim to the claims after she was filmed partying with friends at a club, appearing to embrace one man as he “got up to leave”.
Mecklenburgh has since slammed the reports in a statement on social media, telling fans their hug was her saying goodbye.
She wrote: “Since when has saying goodbye to a friend turned into a cosy night out?! #ridiculous.”
Sources claimed to have spotted the star in an “overly friendly exchange” with the unknown man.
A source told the Mail: “Lucy seemed overly friendly with this guy. She was touching the inside of his legs, kissing his neck, holding his hand for at least an hour.
“Lucy then left on her own followed two mins later by the guy. They looked very cosy indeed!”
Mecklenburgh's statement came hours after Thomas shared a sweet family snap of the former reality TV star holding his daughter Scarlett. He captioned the Instagram post with a red heart.
Mecklenburgh was forced to deny claims she had fallen out with the Big Brother champion earlier this year after he was pictured looking visibly upset at the Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of The Year event.
Mecklenburgh and Thomas both attended the bash in October, but were seen leaving in separate taxis.
Thomas tried to hide his face as he left after his girlfriend, with an eyewitness claiming he looked “choked up,” according to the Mirror.
But Mecklenburgh hit back claiming her early exit was down to being ill.
“When you have cold/flu and the press try to turn it into a row with your boyfriend,” she posted on her Instagram account.
