Lucy Mecklenburgh was over the moon to finally reunite with best pal Lydia Bright for a self-distanced afternoon with their babies.
It was the first time that the best friends, who gave birth just weeks apart, were able to bring their children together.
Sharing the touching picture on social media, 28-year-old Lucy was excited for her baby son Roman to meet Lydia, 29, and her daughter Loretta.
The former TOWIE stars appear to have reunited in a garden and enjoyed the sunshine over the weekend while playing with their adorable babies on a huge grey blanket.
In the picture the doting new mums beamed from ear to ear as they sat at a distance among the grass.
"At lasttttt!! Loretta & Roman finally meet @lydiabrigh. Future besties or bf & Gf!?" Lucy captioned the shot.
On her social media story, Lucy further expressed her joy at the reunion, adding: "The moment we have been waiting for."
Fans of the reality stars were quick to give their verdict on what future connection they can imagine for the youngsters.
"Ahh I love this defiantly future besties," wrote one fan.
Another added: "How lovely can see it’s love at first sight."
Fellow TOWIE star Georgia Kousoulou also shared her joy over the cute moment, writing: "Most beautiful babies ever so blessed xxx."
Others pointed out how wonderful it was for the best friends to have given birth at such a close time.
"Oh my goodness, SO lovely! To have a baby at a similar time as your best friend must be so amazing xx," another follower said.
Prior to their reunion, Lydia expressed how excited she had been for the tots to finally come together for the first time.
Taking to social media just days ago, Lydia shared a screenshot where the new mums face timed with their babies on their laps.
"Only two more sleeps until Loretta meets her future husband for the first time
Ps. How amazing does my best friend look this was like 7am in the morning," she wrote.
Lydia and Lucy discovered they were expecting within hours of each other.
Although they have only been able to introduce their babies today, the new mums have suggested their tots already hold a close bond.
