TV and radio presenter Lucy Kennedy has been announced as the official MC for the inaugural ‘Funfest’ Family Festival at Tayto Park.
The festival, in Ashbourne, Co Meath, will play host to 16 international and Irish music acts including The Blizzards, former X Factor stars Rak-Su and Heather Small of M People.
The latest act to be announced are Irish pop-rockers Keywest who will play the main stage on Saturday, June 29, with many more also on the next day.
There will be circus acts, family entertainment, dance and art throughout the weekend.
Families can dance the afternoon away, take a ride on The Cú Chulainn rollercoaster or sample tasty offerings from street food vendors.

Speaking at the announcement, Lucy said: "I’m delighted to be part of the first FunFest, myself and all the family are big fans of Tayto Park and I’m looking forward to catching all the performance acts and family activities taking place in the various big top tents throughout the weekend but don’t expect me to ride Cú Chulainn!"
Tickets for the event are priced at €55 per day and include entry to the park and wristbands for all amusements as well as Funfest itself.

The park will only be open to Funfest ticket holders on the weekend of June 29-30.
