Lucy-Jo Hudson’s boyfriend has written a cryptic message about ‘being kind’ less than a day after he was slammed on social media by Lucy-Jo's ex-husband.
The former Corrie star’s current partner, 32-year-old Lewis Devine, took to social media on 24 February to share a heartfelt post:
"A massive thank you to all our friends and family for everything we love you all so much! Also a big thank you for all our lovely gifts we are very lucky to have so many kind people in our life xx"
He then reposted the image now famously associated with the late Caroline Flack after she shared it a few months before her tragic death.
He wrote, “THIS IS SO TRUE XXX” underneath Caroline’s comment that reads: “In a world where You can be anything, be kind.”
The post appears linked to what appears to be a rising tensions between Lewis and Lucy-Jo’s ex-husband Alan Halsall in relation to his daughter.
Hollyoaks star Lucy-Jo, who plays Donna-Marie Quinn in the Channel 4 soap, gave birth to her first child with Lewis last week, and Lewis wrote an Instagram post which included: "Our Sienna is delighted and is already making the best big sister, just like I knew she would!”
Alan, who is also known for his acting in Coronation Street, was seemingly frustrated that Lucy-Jo’s partner had implied that Sienna was his own.
“You’re welcome to keep the lying cheating one & call her your own! But not my daughter," he responded.
Lucy-Jo and Alan split for good in 2018 but share Sienna together, the actress then quickly began dating kids’ theatre company boss Lewis two months later.
The happy couple met on the set of Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs where they both performed before slowly growing into a relationship.
Last year, Lucy-Jo opened up about co-parenting and praised her former husband and his new partner.
"Co-parenting has its challenges and it can be difficult with everyone's schedules but you make it work for the child involved," she said at the time.
"I'm happy Sienna has a good male and female role model on my side and with Alan and his girlfriend.
Alan is now dating his 25-year-old co-star Tisha Merry.
