Lucy-Jo Hudson admitted co-parenting is "challenging" as she opened up about her relationship with ex-husband Alan Halsall.
The former Coronation Street star shares six-year-old daughter Sienna with Alan, who still stars as Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV soap.
They split in 2018 after nine years of marriage, and things haven't always been civil between them.
Lucy, 36, has now welcomed baby son Carter with her new partner Lewis Devine, who has a close bond with Sienna.
However, Alan appeared to get rather upset when Lewis described her as "our Sienna" in a social media post after welcoming his son into the family.
He had posted: "Our Sienna is delighted and is already making the best big sister, just like I knew she would!"
Alan lashed out in a now-deleted Instagram post, writing: "You’re welcome to keep the lying cheating one & call her your own! But not my daughter."
Addressing the drama, Lucy-Jo told OK! : "I had literally just given birth to Carter when he posted that so I didn’t see it and my head was elsewhere. He quickly deleted it so he must have regretted it.
"I didn’t bother bringing it up with him. Lew and I were both too focused on Carter so it just didn’t get our attention."
And Lewis says that he and Alan never fell out about it.
Lucy-Jo added: "No, but the thing is, everybody who has a blended family knows it’s not easy. You can’t pretend that it is. And me and Alan sometimes have different views on raising Sienna so trying to co-parent can be challenging. It’s probably like that for a lot of blended families."
The actress says she and Lewis try their best to keep those things private and that Sienna isn't aware of any troubles between her parents.
She said that all Sienna knows is that "she has loving parents on both sides".
Lucy-Jo and Alan tied the knot in 2009 after meeting on the set of Corrie in 2005.
They welcomed Sienna in 2013 but went on to split in 2016.
They got back together after several weeks apart, but split for good in 2018, when they announced they were divorcing.
Alan is now in a relationship with Tisha Merry, who he met on the cobbles in 2018.
