Lucy-Jo Hudson breaks silence on feud with ex Alan Halsall

Lucy-Jo Hudson has spoken out following her fall-out with ex husband Alan Halsall.

Former Corrie co-stars Lucy-Jo and Alan split in 2018 after nine years together, but committed to raising their daughter Sienna together.

Both of them now have new partners, with Lucy-Jo's new love Lewis Devine sparking Alan's fury when he referred to Sienna as his "own" on social media.

Speaking about welcoming son Carter with Lucy-Jo in February, Lewis wrote: "Our Sienna is delighted and is already making the best big sister, just like I knew she would!”

Alan then hit back in a furious Instagram post which seemed to imply Lucy-Jo was unfaithful, and warned Lewis not to call his daughter Sienna his own.

In a since-deleted Instagram story, Alan said: “You’re welcome to keep the lying cheating one & call her your own! But not my daughter.”

Opening up about the feud Lucy-Jo admitted that co-parenting with an ex can be “challenging”.

Speaking in this week's  OK! mag azine, Lucy-Jo said: "I had literally just given birth to Carter when he posted that so I didn’t see it and my head was elsewhere. He quickly deleted it so he must have regretted it.

"I didn’t bother bringing it up with him. Lew and I were both too focused on Carter so it just didn’t get our attention."

And the mum-of-two revealed that she and Lewis keep their past private when it comes to Sienna, before admitting she hasn't told her anything about why she and Alan are no longer together.

The former Corrie actress said: "The thing is, everybody who has a blended family knows it’s not easy. You can’t pretend that it is.

"And me and Alan sometimes have different views on raising Sienna so trying to co-parent can be challenging. It’s probably like that for a lot of blended families."
