Lucy Hilton: Missing 13-year-old Banbridge girl sparks police appeal

Police have issued an appeal to help find a missing 13-year-old girl in Co Down.

They say they are becoming increasingly concerned for the wellbeing of Lucy Hilton who was last seen in Banbridge on Tuesday, July 6, at around 5.30pm.

A PSNI spokesperson posted on Facebook: "She was last seen wearing black Nike leggings, a red top and a dark denim jacket.

"If you have any information on Lucy’s location or sight her please contact Police on 101 quoting reference 1486 of 06/07/21."

Meanwhile, officers in North Belfast are seeking help to help find the owners of a dog that was found and handed in to police on Tuesday night.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "The pooch pictured below was found having lots of fun by himself this evening in the Waterworks… he has been handed in to us.

"If this is your dog, let us know by calling on 101.

"Incident number 1820 06/07/21."
