Lucy Fallon and Arabella Chi among VIPS at Inflata Nation launch party

Famous faces were among those to try out the revamped Inflata Nation after its mammoth revamp.

We reported earlier this month how the Trafford venue was being transformed with a new ‘double-decker’ layout.

Boasting the tallest set of slides of their type in Britain, at 23ft high, the revamp of the 18,000 sq ft site coincides with the venue's second birthday.

Coronation Street’s Lucy Fallon and Love Island star Arabella Chi were pictured trying out the new inflatables, which are now across two levels.

The event saw hundreds of guests getting a sneak peek of the arena before it opened to the public.

Guests included Kelly Gore and her twin boys Thomas and William, who were lucky enough to win tickets in our Manchester Family competition.

As well as the drop slides, the new wall-to-wall inflatable features a fun ‘shooting gallery’, featuring air cannons that fire plastic balls at special targets, a 20ft tall ‘jump off’ platform, where guests can don a harness before taking a leap of faith to freefall to the floor below, and a gladiator podium.

There's also spinning dodgems, a new tilting slide, an obstacle course and a huge new ‘Inflata Bubbles’ section, designed so that visitors can achieve optimum bounce heights.

As before, there's also a dedicated space designed for under fours to enjoy themselves away from older users.

Inflata Nation founder Matt Ball said: "We wanted to do something special for visitors to mark our second anniversary.

"And we were delighted to welcome Lucy and Arabella to the park - alongside all of our other visitors."

He added: "We’re confident this represents the next generation in UK inflatable theme park design, with lots of never-before-seen features.

“And what’s more, the set of four drop slides are the tallest we've ever made - and the tallest in the UK.

“You’ll need a head for heights, as they give a fall of some 23ft - and are almost vertical."

Formerly Jump Nation , which was the first trampoline centre to open in Greater Manchester in 2014, it was transformed into Inflata Nation in October 2017 and has since attracted tens of thousands of visitors.

Prices have stayed the same and sessions cost £5.95 an hour for under fours and £9.95 an hour for children aged four to 15 and adults.

If you want an additional hour it's £3 for under fours and £7 for everyone else. Spectators are free of charge.
