Lucky winner scoops Powerball jackpot of $1.04 billion

Powerball Illinois

An Illinois Powerball player has won Wednesday night’s $1.04 billion jackpot.
The grand prize is the largest won since 2025.
The winning numbers were 4, 26, 66, 67, and 69, and the Powerball was 9.
The winner, who has not yet been identified, can choose to receive the $1.04 billion in 30 graduated annual payments, or a lump sum of about $450.5 million.
Both of those figures are before taxes.
