Two neighbours in one Nottinghamshire village street have become £1,000 richer thanks to the People's Postcode Lottery.
The lucky residents in Ash Grove, Keyworth, were announced as the winners on Wednesday, September 9.
This is because their postcode, NG12 5DH, was announced as the daily prize winner.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt said: “Congratulations to our winners! I’m thrilled for them and I hope they go and treat themselves with their winnings.”
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted on behalf of Clic Sargent which has received more than £10.9 million in funding thanks to players.
The charity provides vital emotional, practical, financial and clinical support to young cancer patients and their families during and after treatment.
