Three lucky Stapleford residents have bagged a wad of cash after their street was drawn in the latest People's Postcode Lottery draw.
In what is no doubt a huge boost for them amid the worsening coronavirus pandemic, the three residents who live in Hillfield Road, Stapleford, took home £1,000 each following the draw on Friday, October 16.
Their postcode, NG9 8PT, was drawn, netting them the money.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt said: “What a brilliant way to start the weekend. Congratulations to the winners, I hope they have fun spending the cash!”
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted on behalf of the Postcode Community Trust which provides funding to improve community health and wellbeing, increase participation in arts and physical recreation and reduce isolation.
