Three more $100,000 cash prizes from the state’s coronavirus vaccine lottery will be handed out to inoculated winners from Chicago and two suburbs, Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s office announced Monday.

Three residents — one from Chicago, the others from Berwyn and Joliet — will be notified by phone or email by the state Public Health Department about their winnings.

Those who live in those cities should watch for a call from (312) 814-3524 as well as an email from DPH.communications@illinois.gov.

Monday’s was the third drawing in the state’s “All in for the Win” vaccine lottery aimed at getting more shots into arms.

Last week, the state announced three other lucky state residents would soon become $100,000 richer.

Public health officials announced July 8 that one resident of Chicago had won $1 million and three inoculated teens from Chicago, suburban Cook County and DeKalb County won $150,000 scholarships.

Gov J.B. Pritzker announces a COVID-19 vaccine lottery program last month at Access Community Health Network in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.

The state plans to announce the names of the winners unless they choose to remain anonymous. No one so far has consented to being identified, a spokeswoman for Pritzker’s office said.

To be eligible for future drawings, which Illinois plans to do through the end of August, state residents must have received their doses of coronavirus vaccine at least one week ahead of the draw.

Illinois set up a $7 million cash prize pool for vaccinated adults. Three will win $1 million and another 40 state residents will be drawn for $100,000 cash prizes. In addition, 20 vaccinated kids will be chosen to win $150,000 scholarship through the lottery.
