This lucky lady has got an early present after winning a prize package worth more than £1,000 in our Christmas All Wrapped up competition.
The Chronicle teamed up with intu Eldon Square and various retailers to give one lucky reader a selection of gift vouchers, makeovers, experiences, afternoon tea, hampers and fragrance.
And the prize has gone to Michelle Cromwell, from Wallsend, who described the feeling as "amazing".
"I decided to give it a go because it was postal entry and I'm not too good with computers and things like that," the 45-year-old said.
"It's amazing actually, and it's places I don't usually go to.
"I've already told some of the girls at work they'll have to help me spend it."
On what she was most looking forward to, the Heaton Nursery worker said: "I think it's the meals out, having those nights out and experiences."
