A lucky Irish punter was celebrating after winning nearly €7,000 from just a €6 bet on Monday evening.
The Meath gambler hit the jackpot after placing a €3 each way treble on races in Bath and Wolverhampton.
In the 3.35 race at Bath, Powerful Dream got things rolling when flashing past the post in first at odds of 12/1.
And then when Viola Park did the business in the 6.50 at Wolverhampton at 20/1, the dream was close to becoming reality.
It all rested on The Daley Express (8/1) who flew up the straight to win by a length and bag the punter a handsome €6,891.48 to get their week off to a fantastic start.
