The person who bought the winning ticket for Wednesday's massive Lotto jackpot has made contact with officials to collect the prize.
The National Lottery confirmed the news this afternoon - meaning that the biggest Lotto prize in four years has officially been won.
We'll know the exact shop which sold the winning ticket tomorrow morning, but we do know that the punter purchased the QuickPick ticket on the day of the draw.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: "We can confirm that we have been contacted by the lucky Kilkenny ticket holder and the winning ticket has officially been verified which means that arrangements are now being made for the prize to be claimed.
"Once the prize has been paid, we hope to share further details of the lucky winner, once they are happy to do so.”
Ticket holders in Co. Laois are also being asked to check their tickets after the Lotto Plus 2 top prize of €250,000 was won with a Quick Pick ticket purchased at the Corrib Oil service station in Fairgreen in Portlaoise on the day of the draw.
Meanwhile, two further players in Cavan and Dublin also came agonisingly close to sharing the €12.7 million jackpot on offer after they won the Match 5 + Bonus prize which was worth €416,263.
The winning Cavan Quick Pick ticket was sold at Cullies Mace services station on the Ballyhayes Road in Cavan Town while the other ticket in Dublin was sold at the Circle K store/Sundrive service station on Lower Kimmage Road in Dublin 6 W.
Meanwhile, one Kilkenny man went viral after his tweet just hours before the draw.
Gary Bryan saw six magpies on Wednesday afternoon.
He implored those in Kilkenny to "do the lotto" and said that someone in Kilkenny would "strike gold" later that night.
Lo and behold, they did!
