Two people in Nottingham are celebrating this week after winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.
The Sherwood residents netted the windfall when NG5 3DQ was announced as a daily prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Monday, November 23.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her well-wishes to the winners in Kneeton Close.
She said: "What a great way to start the week, congratulations to our winners in Nottingham. I’m sure they’ll enjoy spending the cash and treat themselves to something special."
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
A spokesperson for People’s Postcode Lottery said: "This draw was promoted by Postcode Care Trust.
"The trust supports activities that improve the health and lives of communities. It supports charities and good causes with those purposes through grant funding. Postcode Care Trust operates its own society lottery and receives all of its funding from the players of People's Postcode Lottery."
