A lucky punter has snapped a cool €250,000 after winning big on tonight’s Lotto Plus 2 draw.
They won the top prize after matching all six winning number and the bonus.
The winning numbers for Lotto Plus 2 are 3, 10, 17, 30, 34, 42 and the bonus 5.
Lotto bosses also revealed that the winning ticket was sold in the north west of the country.
Meanwhile, there was no winner of the overall €4.5 million jackpot.
The winning numbers are 22, 24, 26, 39, 42, 47 and the bonus 4.

There was no winner of the top prize of €1 million on the Lotto Plus 1 draw.
The winning numbers for the Lotto Plus 1 are 1, 3, 4, 5, 24, 26 and the bonus 33.
Meanwhile, a survey has recently revealed that more than a third of National Lottery players use their birthday as their Lotto numbers.
Some 35% use their date of birth or those of their family and friends, while 12% go for Quick Pick play and 2% think their anniversary dates might land them the jackpot.
Car registration and PPS numbers are also considered lucky - and one player has even admitted using the dates of famous battles in his bid to win.
The survey also found that more than 66% of players would move house if they won.
