A Canadian man was all smiles after winning a $1 million jackpot on the lottery - for the second time.
Antoine Beaini previously won big when playing the lottery 13 months ago, banking the Maxmillion LOTTO MAXprize of CAD 1 million (GBP 638,310), before he won the same prize earlier this month.
Reports from October 25 revealed that Antoine, who is from the town of Milton in Ontario, Canada, realised he had purchased the winning ticket after checking the draw results on an official Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) app.
He spoke to the local media about his win, posing with his CAD 1 million check and said: "I couldn't believe it. I thought 'Again?'
"It was more shocking than the first win.
"I told my wife, and she was very happy!"

He then went to the OLG's headquarters in Toronto to claim his winnings for the second time, after his first win in August 2021.
Antoine revealed that he loves playing LOTTO MAX, telling lottery officials: "I was also at the prize centre in August 2021 to pick up a $1 million prize!"
On what he plans to do with his winnings, he said he wanted to use the money to ensure his family's well-being, especially looking out for his younger relatives.
He added: "I want to make sure the next generation of my family is set up comfortably."
Although rare, he isn’t the first person to win big on multiple occasions, with an unnamed French man winning €1 million twice in the space of two years.
He won the first prize in November 2016, the second in June 2018.
Mathematicians said that the odds of winning the My Million lottery twice was approximately one in 19 million, almost as likely as being struck by lightning twice, according to bookmaker Paddy Power, which was predicted to be one in 20 million.
The man had continued to play the lottery regularly, each week, and upon winning on the second time, he reportedly barely reacted to the news that he had won.
