Lucky Limerick punter wins EuroMillions Plus top prize of €500,000

A lucky Limerick punter will be celebrating this weekend after winning half a million euro in Friday's EuroMillions Plus draw.

Lotto bosses revealed the €500,000 golden ticket was sold in the Treaty City.

The winning numbers were 05, 08, 15, 32, 33.

There was no winner of the whopping €38m jackpot but over 57,000 players in Ireland picked up prizes.

The numbers in the main draw were: 08, 18, 22, 41, 42 and lucky stars 11 and 12.

And ten players picked up a cool €5,000 each in the Ireland Only raffle.

The winning raffle ID numbers were: I-HFD-20521, I-HFF-09530, I-HFF-47784, I-HFF-85221, I-HFG-01671, I-HFH-26811, I-HFH-39543, I-HFJ-06514, I-HFJ-10350 and I-HFK-74323.
