A lucky Kildare punter woke up €500,000 richer this morning after scooping the EuroMillions Plus prize last night.
The Lotto sent an email confirming the mammoth win to the player this morning.
The five winning EuroMillions Plus numbers were: 1, 4, 9, 17 and 42.
A spokesperson said: “One of our lucky online players has woken up to an email this morning to inform them that they have won the €500,000 Lotto Plus prize!
"We are encouraging all of our online and App players to check their emails and to contact our prize claims team on 01 836 4444 and we will make arrangements for them to collect their prize”.
There was no winner of the massive €100,840,609 EuroMillions jackpot which means that Tuesday’s jackpot now rolls to an estimated €110 million.
The spokesperson added: “Excitement has been building across the country as the EuroMillions jackpot rolled to that magic €100million mark.
"Hopefully Ireland can have its 15 EuroMillions jackpot winner this Tuesday, which would be the third highest jackpot ever won by an Irish player.
"The record EuroMillions jackpot win was claimed last February by the Naul Family Syndicate from North County Dublin who collected a cheque for €175.4 million.”
