A lucky Irish punter hit a royal flush by turning a €5 bet into over €7,000 on Tuesday.
The Kildare Boylesports customer placed a €0.20 cent Lucky 15 and a €1 each-way accumulator on the opening day of Royal Ascot.
Motakhayyel (14/1) got the punter off to a flying start to land the 1.15pm race for Richard Hannon and Jim Crowley.
Then the Aidan O'Brien-trained Circus Maximus followed up in a Group 1 at 4/1 before Nazeef went in at 10/3 in the 4.10pm race.
It all came down to 16/1 shot Coeur De Lion in the final race on the card.
And when the selection won by a length it was celebration time for the Kildare punter whose Lucky 15 and accumulator combined for a stunning total win of €7,415.88.
