Lucky Galway Lotto player wins €500,000 in Thursday's Daily Million draw

One lucky punter has won €500,000 in Thursday's Daily Million draw.

Lotto bosses say the golden ticket was sold in Galway.

The winning numbers were 1, 3, 8, 9, 23, 27 and bonus number 33.

There was no winner of the top Daily Million prize of €1million.

The numbers in the main draw were 8, 11, 18, 22, 25, 26 and bonus number 27.

Meanwhile, there was also no winner of last night's €2.7m Lotto jackpot.

The numbers drawn were 8, 23, 31, 39, 41, 45 and bonus number 36.

There was no winner of the Lotto Plus 1 or Lotto Plus 2 top prize on Wednesday.

A total over 67,000 players picked up prizes.
