One lucky EuroMillions ticketholder in Ireland is €500,000 richer after winning tonight's Plus draw top prize.
There was just one winner of the life-changing EuroMillions Plus prize of half a million euro.
The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning EuroMillions Plus ticket was sold in Dublin.
The winning numbers in the Plus draw were 2, 6, 9, 17 and 22.
A further 77 people won €2,000 in the draw.
Meanwhile, there was no winner of the main EuroMillions jackpot tonight.
The winning numbers were 9, 37, 47, 48, 49, and Lucky Stars 2 and 7.
The prize pot of €95,302,087 went unclaimed, although thousands of Irish players managed to scoop some cash in the draw.
One ticketholder in Ireland who matched five numbers won the princely sum of €159,799.
More than 51,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games tonight.
