A lucky Dubliner has just scooped a massive €50,000 following a Prize Bonds win.
Bond number KZ 141914 - which belongs to someone in the capital - was pulled out for the draw after a long time in waiting since being purchased in 2009.
There were over 5,000 prizes awarded in this week’s Prize Bond Draw, amounting to over €314,000.
In addition to a €1 million prize awarded on the last weekly draw of June and December, there are weekly draws where the top prize is €50,000.
Other cash prizes awarded each week include 10 winners of €1,000 and 10 winners of €500.
