A Dublin native is thanking their lucky stars after they received a massive boost by turning one coin into a huge five-figure sum.
The Dubliner who wished to remain anonymous put a €2 punt on the Bingo in a BoyleSports shop on Tuesday afternoon.
The punter chose the numbers 2, 10, 19, 30, 33 and 46 to be six of the 35 numbers picked out in the 12:16pm draw.
The lucky player would have done one better if those had been the first six numbers out - that would have saw the punter scoop a colossal €100,000.
But, all six of their numbers appeared within the first seven selected making the punter a cool €20,000 richer.
Spokesman for BoyleSports Lawrence Lyons said: "All looked lost after only one number, but the luck was shining on our Dublin customer and we congratulate them for picking up €20,000 in a matter of minutes."
He added: "It was only a small stake, but their ambition has paid off handsomely."
