Lucky Dubliner bags over €7,000 off just €10.50 on outrageous accumulator

One lucky Dubliner is thanking their lucky stars after landing a fantastic €1.50 each way accumulator and a €0.25 each way Lucky 15, pocketing €7,090.76.

The anonymous punter called into their local BoyleSports betting shop on Friday afternoon and picked four horses on what is known as a Lucky 15 and an accumulator of Downpatrick races with a combined stake of €10.50.

Manomine was the first winner for the bet in the 18.20 race at odds of 5/1, but the punter got 7/1 at the time that the bet was places.

Half an hour later Pat’s Pearl obliged at 6/1 for trainer John McConnell but again they got better odds that that as their bet was placed when the horse was 8/1 earlier in the day.

It was three consecutive wins in a row as Canadian Steel won at 8/1 by a large margin of thirteen lengths leaving the customer in a nail biting wait for the last race at Downpatrick, to see if the outrageous bet would land.

Centaur pulled out all the stops in the 20.20 to beat the 11/8 favourite Global Society meaning the Dubliner was finally able to celebrate.

They called back into their BoyleSports shop to collect a handsome sum of €5,565.34 from the €1.50 each way accumulator and another €1,525.42 for the €0.25 each way Lucky 15.

Sarah Kinsella, Spokeswoman for BoyleSports said: “Well done to our customer who landed a massive accumulator after spending just €3 and a Lucky 15 spending €7.50 to leave with over €7,000. We wish our customer happy spending and congratulations"
