A Dublin punter brought home nearly €6,000 yesterday after two bets totalling €7 came in.
The punter put down two bets, a €0.50 accumulator and €0.25 Super Yankee, on horse racing results in the UK.
Two winners at Beverley, two at Goodwood, and one at Yarmouth needed to come home for a fully successful day and amazingly, all five did.
16/1 shot Protected Guest in the first race of the bet, the 2:50 at Yarmouth, was the biggest risk, but he won by just a neck and as the others romped home, expectation increased that the local BoyleSports would soon be getting cleared out.
After all five selections won, the €0.50 accumulator returned €2,499 and the €0.25 Super Yankee won the punter €3,231.13.
"It was a brilliant win for our Dublin customer who turned €7 into €5,730.13 after successfully picking five horses on Sunday afternoon," a BoyleSports spokesperson said.
"We wish our client the best of luck with their winnings."
