A lucky Dublin punter has taken the Monday blues and turned them to gold after winning €500,000 in a Daily Million Lotto draw.
The Quick Pick, which was bought on Sunday, was sold at Molloy’s Centra store in Rathmines in Dublin 6 and shoppers are being urged to check their tickets.
The winning numbers from today’s 2pm Daily Million Plus draw were 05, 10, 15, 20, 34, 35 and the bonus number was 28.
Dara Molloy who runs the family owned Centra store said: “This is a fantastic win for one of our lucky customers and I’m sure it’ll put a smile on their face on such a dreadful day.
"It’s incredible to think that somebody walked into our store yesterday and walked out with a ticket worth a half a million euro.
"It’s a very busy store with a lot of customers so we’ll be spending the rest of the day ensuring that everybody checks their Daily Million tickets to ensure that they do not miss out on this amazing prize.”
