A lucky Dubliner has just bagged an outrageous €7,600 off a scant €2 backing numbers on the Irish Lotto.
The eye-watering profit was made after the punter went into a BoyleSports shop in the capital on Wednesday and placed a simple €2 accumulator on four numbers coming out in the Lotto draw that evening which included the bonus ball.
The numbers selected were 1, 3, 36 and 38 with the bonus ball included.
Luckily enough, each of the numbers landed for the lucky punter to defy the mammoth odds of 3,800/1 with the small stake.
Sarah Kinsella, spokeswoman for BoyleSports said: “We must send huge congratulations to our Dublin customer who only required a small €2 investment to take us for €7,600. We wish our client the best of luck with their winnings”.
